Minneapolis Farmers Market Guide - 2017

My husband and I are fresh off a 60 hour vacation to Paradise Valley, Arizona.  The lack of responsibility was glorious - as was our stay at the lovely Omni Montelucia.  If you are looking for a getaway and have an appreciation for lovely landscape, pristinely kept properties and gorgeous weather, with a short & direct flight, I can't recommend it enough.  If you can be flexible with your travel dates, you can find amazing deals!  The time away made me realize how ready I am to kick the school routine and settle into summer here in Minnesota.

I picked this dress up along with a few other fun summer finds at Evereve before we left.

One of my favorite ways to spend a summer weekend in Minneapolis is wandering one of our local farmers markets.  If you live in Southwest Minneapolis, there's a good chance you are within walking distance of one of these lovely community gatherings filled with local vendors, local produce, local artisans and local small businesses.  Today I've put together a guide to some of my favorites as well as a few I'm hoping to make it to this summer.  I've organized them by the day of the week they operate on should you want to reference back to the post throughout the summer.  I've also made it a printable piece if you want to keep it somewhere handy.  Right click on the guide below to download the image for printing.

It's also Art-A-Whirl this weekend!  If you aren't familiar with this event that occurs only once a year, check out this link for more information.  An opportunity to view the work of more than 600 artists in 50 locations throughout Northeast Minneapolis.  The event opens Friday at 5pm.
